Pregnant. Epileptic. On Medication For Seizure And Blood Thinners For Dvt. Termination Of Pregnancy Advised?
I am 28 years old and i suffered from a stroke 3 days after i delivered my daughter and i am now epileptic on seziure medication and blood thinners for a dvt. I am now 6 weeks pregnant (not planned) and thinking about termination because of my safety. I have a 2 year old who needs me and i dont know how much of a risk im taking by try to carry a preganancy full term. Please help!

Your risk of future DVT will depend on complete evaluation of any THROMBOPHILIAS, ANTI-PHOSPHOLIPID ANTIBODY , ANA and most important risk of future DVT is previous history of stroke and epileptic. So after evaluation if the risk is less you can continue your pregnancy with heparin injections after consultation with your doctor.
