Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic. First of all I want to assure you that these drugs will not harm you or your baby by any means. For the second question I cannot definitely say why your doctor prescribe you these drugs. May be you have a bad obstetric history, recurrent pregnancy losses. Or maybe your doctor has seen something abnormal in the current pregnancy, a subchorionic hematoma or a known history of luteal phase defect. Anyway to summarize the situation: The beneficial role of these drugs has no strong scientific evidence, but on the other hand the will not harm you or your baby in the future. Good luck with your pregnancy. Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
