Pregnant. Pain In Buttocks, Difficulty Sitting, Red And Hard Bump Formation

Hi I'm 20 and 27 weeks pregnant about 3 days ago I woke up with pain in my upper butt in between the buttox. It is VERY painful I can barely sit down. I don't have pcp only an obgyn it is red and hard feels like a bump is forming like an inch long or two long. The pain is unbearable my email address is YYYY@YYYY

Hi you probably are suffering from bacterial infection of hair follicles called furuncle.you need to take painkiller nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs like diclofenac or Naproxen and you should take antibiotics like cephalosporins or Augmentin for a week or so .if it didnt resolve and pus collected then incision and drainage may be required.
