Pregnant. Taken Ofloxacin Tablets For Stomach Infection And Voveron For Chest Pain. Will These Have Side Effects On Pregnancy?

hello dr
i am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant and have taken ofloxacin ornidazole tablets full course a week back due to stomach infection, also taken injection voveron for chest pain during the same period. pregnacy test came out to be positive after the medicines were taken . what do you suggest to do with the pregnancy? its urgent please respond fast

Hi,
During first trimester of pregnancy any type of medicine should be avoided.
In your case you took full course of antibiotic and anti-amebic medicine and analgesic medicine injection as well.
It is better to take advice of your obst and follow her advice.
