Pregnant. Taking Mkat. Will The Baby Have Abnormalities?

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and have been taking the drug mkat almost every week, I feel so ashamed but I am addicted. At my 12 week scan they saw no abnormalities, I also went for a 3d scan this week and they didn't say anything looked unusual. I am going to try and stop now although the damage has probably already been done. Is there a chance I could be lucky and the baby have no abnormalities or is it highly unlikely and they will probably find something at my 20 week scan?

Hello
Welcome to HCM

Mkat is mephedrone. It is a stimulant drug. Any drug taken in pregnancy exposes the developing fetus to the risk of malformations. You have been using it for about 17 weeks in pregnancy. It is fortunate that no obvious abnormality found on USG, still risk is there. Also even you are continuing to take it, the developing fetus will become dependent to the drug and after birth serious or even fatal withdrawal effects will be seen. I strongly advise you to stop taking it. You are not only destroying your life but also the life of fetus. Please visit a Psychiatrist for expert opinion.

Thanks
