Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic. 31 weeks with a twin is like 40 weeks with a singleton. I do appreciate how much pressure symptoms you are suffering. Cough is not good at that time and it may cause preterm labor. I suggest you visit a chest consultant because he will define the type of infection causing you cough after hearing your chest. Chest x ray is not contraindicated if necessary. All cough syrups, bronchodilators and even corticosteroids can be used safely. As for the piles, it is common with pregnancy especially with an oversized uterus (twins), and most of them resolve after delivery. You may use any local formula to decrease it's size or at least decrease it's progression. Finally I suggest you have beta or dexa methasone injection to enhance lung maturity if your doctor agrees. Good luck. Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
