Hi,
Folvite tablets contain folic acid, one of the natural nutrients of the body and are in no way related to the hormones. Therefore, they do not effect the menstrual pattern in any way. They are good in prenatal, antenatal as well as post natal period. They help in preventing neural tube defects in the fetus when a pregnancy is contemplated. They help in aiding the growth of the fetus and after delivery, nourish the mother. Take care.
Hello,
The tablet folvite is vitamin folic acid tablet. It is given preconceptionally and during pregnancy, as it is shown to prevent some developemental abnormalities in the developing fetus.
It has no effect on your periods.
As you are trying for pregnancy, the delayed period could be due to pregnancy.
So, i would suggest you to get urine pregnancy test done.
If negative, you need to get examined and evaluated for the cause of delayed period, which could be due to stress, thyroid problems etc.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Good Luck,
Dr. Mrs. Sumeet baheti
