Mitral valve prolapse is the common among the cardiac disorders of the pregnancy. Normally 60% of the people will not have any symptoms. But in stressful conditions as pregnancy some people will develop symptoms like,
Dysautonomia symptoms like anxiety, migraine headaches etc.,
Worsening of these symptoms indicate the development of mitral insufficiency.
Now you have to consult your cardiologist immediately for further treatment. As you are in second trimester this is good time for any procedures if needed.
