Pregnant, Smoking Marijuana To Calm Down Nausea. Process Of Detoxification?
hi, i just turned 8mnths i have been smoking marijuana since the beginning of my pregnancy to calm the nausea and give me the desire to even eat...Honestly i am not an addict of marijuana but it really does help...But i am due on Aug 10th and I am afraid and at a lose of what to do...with my first child I had sickness throughout everyday until the month she was going to be born nausea medicine never helped...is there any way for me to detox
I understand your concerns. I understand that you have been using marijuana to control the vomiting sensation or the nausea associated with pregnancy. However you made a poor choice in medicating yourself since you have become dependent on the substance at this point in time. If you are due soon, it might be best to consult an OBGYN to get a psychiatry referral so as to get off of the substance by the time you deliver and to have as much of a healthy baby as you can. I also believe that you need to consult a psychologist who can help with counseling part to educate you about the ill effects of the use of marijuana.
