Pregnant Taking Medication For Bacterial Vaginosis. Have Cramps And Diarrhea. Why?
I m 7 1/2 months pregnant and my doc prescribed me a pill that lasted 7 days to take care of bacterial vaginosis . Today is my last day and I was having cramps before I started the pills. I still have cramps and a lot of pressure when I walk but now my pee appears very orange when I wipe. And I am having diarrhea now more often than before. Is there a reason this is happening.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Antibiotic use during pregnancy can cause diarrhoea.
The mild contractions that you are having can be due to Braxton Hick's contractions. You need to get a vaginal swab culture done to check if the infection is cured.
