Hi,
Since this is obviously your first time, you are bound to perceive all the symptoms in a serious manner. Yet, the altered taste is a natural phenomenon in early pregnancy. You can try taking dry fruits, fresh fruits like prunes to alleviate this feeling. It is good once in a while to have a small quantity of home-made pickles. Take plenty of water at intervals. Do not worry, your baby won't be harmed. Please get further suggestions from your doctor. Take care.
