Pregnant, Water Infection, Back Pain. Normal Water Test, High WBC. Treatment?
my daughter is 20 weeks pregnant , shes been treat for a water infection for 5 weeks , shes had 3 lots of antibiotics , the last water test was clear although there was a lot of white cells , a lot more than you would expect in a pregnant lady , shes in so much discomfort when she goes to the toilet and after and also has pain in one side of her back . have you anym ideas please

Your daughter is having recurrent urinary tract infection.
Screen and treat the partner also.
Your daughter is also pregnant.
Effective control of infection is must because recurrent UTI's may cause refractory anaemia and the risk of abortion also increases by many fold.
Do a urine culture and sensitivity to choose the optimum effective antibiotics.
Backache may be due ti UTI or PID.
