Pregnant With Pain In The Rib, Burping. Indigestion Or Gall Bladder Problem?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant & woke up very early this morning with pain under my right rib which I couldn't get rid of. It felt like trapped wind & Ive been constantly burping. I took some antacids but they didn't seem to help & I then vomited. I'm still burping constantly & still have the pain under ribs but nowhere near as bad. I have just eat a piece of toast as I had eaten since last night. Is it indigestion, gall bladder or what?

Hi

It is normal to have a little indigestion and burping during pregnancy. Little bit of pain under the ribs is also ok. If it is hurting too bad then it warrants investigations. It may be gastro-esophageal reflux disease or it can be a swelling of an organ in abdomen. You may get USG abdomen done to rule out cholecystitis, etc.
