my baby has rashes on her legs,hands,palms,sole of the feet and round her lips.its in type of small boils.Lips and tongue has become red.she cries a lot and thiers loss of appetite.The Dr. has prescribed eumosome ointment,Aziwok Syrup,Practin Syrup and Olzim Syrup.Please suggest what precautions should be taken!

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the rah on legs and hands of your baby.

- Eumosome ointment contains mometasone cream. This can be very well used because are best effective in these conditionI suggest you to apply this medium potency steroid cream application not beyond 14 days and if longer use then only under dermatological supervision.

- Apply the cream in very thin layer do not over apply.

- Do not pinch, pop or scratch or even touch the area unnecessarily as it can cause aggravation of the rash.

- Wear cotton clothes and cotton inner garments which will give a soothing feeling to the skin.

-Keep him away from extreme of hot and cold environment.
