im new to monitoring my blood sugar i was told i have type 2 diabeties but did not need to worry about checking it and was put on metformin and ameril but i wanted to know where my levels were i had two double cheese burgers and a sprite for lunch and checked it about an hour later anf it was 265 and so i waited another hour so that put me two hours after i ate and it was 206 i weigh about 250 and am a 38 year old male 5'6" and im just wondering what sence can be made of those numbers and where they should be and when to check them and what to watch for
