Prescribed Cliopirox Olamine After Biopsy For Cervical Cancer, Painful Rash Around Vagina. Can The Same Be Used ?
After having a biopsy for cervical cancer, I was prescribed cliopirox olamine .77 cream to be used for a very painful rash that developed on my vagina area. After 2 weeks of using the cream and doing better, I returned to the gyn and she said that a lot of the mustard colored stuff she put on the biopsied area to stop the bleeding did not all discharge and she had to remove it. Now the rash is back and is burning very very badly. Do I continue with this cream or is there something else that I can use? The gyn says it will clear up...well it's been 4 weeks since the biopsy. I also have a bad headache and I am tired of dealing with this. Can you please advise?
hello thanks for posing your worry on HCM painful rash around the vagina could be hepertic. get valacyclovir or acyclovir cream to apply. however, the rash can clear up on its own but could always be recurrent in stressful conditions. consult a neurologist for the headache. thanks
