Prescribed Sercos-vt For Vaginal Infection During Pregnancy. Inserting Medicine Very Painful

hi,myself sonal and I m 28weeks pregnant. I have a watery discharge from my vagina.its not painful,or not itching but it has so much smelly.i told it to my doctor she sait its a vaginal infection and she prescribe me sercos-vt 500mg.but I don't know how to insert it properly in vagina and is painful when it inserted.

The best way to insert the tablet is to empty your bladder bay passing urine. The tablet may be inserted in the lying down position or squatting position. Hold the tablet in you fingers. Insert it into the vagina in the long axis as high up as you can. do not be scared. Nothing happens to the baby by inserting tablet in the vagina. remain in lying down position after inserting the tablet for 2-3 hours. It is best used at night just before sleeping as the tablet remains inside longer for maximum effect. A slight discharge of the color of the tablet may come out in the morning and is remains of the tablet.

Insertion may be associated with slight pain or burning in some women.

I suggest that a vaginal swab testing may be done before using any tablet to know the type of infection for best results.
