Prescribed Sotalol For A-Fib. Blood Pressure Low And Feeling Tired And Sleepy

I have A-Fib and was recently given sotalol, 40mg twice a day. I bleed if I take blood thinners other than Plavix. I have been on this sotalol almost a month now. For the last few days I have been feeling tired, sleepy and just out of it. I took my blood pressure awhile ago and it was 99/48. Do you think I need to go to the emergency room or check with my Dr. in the am. ?

99/48 BP is not too low for refering to emergency. But I would advise you to see your doctor to discuss your treatment if you cannot tolerate sotalol. Digoxin also can be option depending comorbidities.
Hope I could help you
