Protruding Eyes After Rubbing, Skin Of Eyeball Popping, Bump On White Part Of Eye. Any Need Of Medication?
i was rubbing my eyes a bit too hard and my eye suddenly start protruding a bit. there seems to be a bump on the white part of the eyeball and if i look to my left or right, some skin of the eyeball will pop out more severely to the corners of my eyes. please help diagnose this! do i need medication right away? or can i sleep on it and see if it goes away tomorrow?
It seems you are having conjunctival chemosis due to trauma by rubbing. You should take hot fomentation, anti-biotic ointments 3-4 times a day and some anti-inflammatory drops 3 times a day.
Also, you can take anti-inflmmatory tablets for about 3 days. In span of 3 days, you problem should get resolved.
