Hello, I have been on pain management programs since my mid twentys, I am 68 yrs old. Recently my hospital has stopped its pain management and I am having trouble finding a new clinic. It seems the only people who have no voice in this opioid problem are the people suffering in pain. HELP !! I used to be able to enjoy my life, although I always knew there would limitations With my bad back . Can you give me any advice?
For back pain to be diagnosed, take an X-ray and MRI You can find the cause. To subside the pain, local application is better than oral use. Do back strengthening exercises. Avoid forward bending.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prasad, Orthopedic Surgeon
