Hello,
I will try to answer your queries as best as possible. It is good that your TSH has come back as normal. So this rules out
hypothyroidism as TSH assay is assay is a very sensitive test.
Headaches could be due to lot of reasons. 1) You also mentioned stuffy nose, it is possible that you could be having
sinusitis, which can cause headaches too. For this you could take a mild painkiller like Tab. Ibuprofen 200-400 mg thrice a day (provided you are not allergic to it and had no side effects earlier with it) for 4-5 days and see if the headache settles down. Take this tablet with food as it can cause gastritis if taken on empty stomach. You can also take a Tab.
Paracetamol 500-650 mg three times a day along with the ibuprofen. 2) Drink plenty of water, as
dehydration can also cause headaches. 3) Do you have any
blurred vision, if yes, then kindly see a ophthalmologist as blurred vision gives rise to headache too due to strain on the nerves of the brain. 4) When at doctors, get your BP checekd as high BP can cause headaches as well.
Lack of energy could be due to your hectic life looking after your 2 year old. To overcome this, take a well balanced healthy diet with vegetables, proteins and carbohydrates in good measure. Take fruits as well. Drink milk/buttermilk/curd/yoghurt. Avoid high calories/high fat/processed food. A well balanced diet can help with your
weight loss. Try to exercise atleast 45 min/day
You can even take a
multivitamin tablet everyday - Tab. A to Z, one tablet everyday for next 3 months. A multivitamin will also help with your tingling in your hands.
Kindly get your Vitamin-D levels checked as its deficiency can cause tiredness too. You could also get your blood glucose levels and complete blood picture checked to rule out other causes of tiredness.
I wish all the best for your thyroid scan, and hope you get better soon
Thank you
