I HAD A PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST - AND WAS TOLD I WOULD NEED A COUPLE OF LITERS OF OXYGEN EACH DAY. THEN I WAS I PHONED BY MY ONCOLOGISTSS NURSE AND TOLD I SHOULD SEE A PULMONOLOGIST - SIGNED., CONFUSED/ ( I HAVE PERIODIC SHORTNESS OF BREATH - I HAD LUNG CANCER REMOVED THREE YEARS AGO. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. ALICE
Alice you may need intermittent oxygen or not can't be said without seeing the reports of your blood gas. A pulmonary function test will not be the prime thing to base the advice of oxygen on. I will recommend that you see a pulmonologist so that he can give you a proper prescription for it
