Hello and welcome to HCM,
The
ultrasound report suggests reflux of semen in the
spermatic cord.
reflux refers to back flow of the semen.
Back flow can occur due to an obstruction at any level of the spermatic cord.
A stricture or narrowing of the spermatic cord is the commonest cause of reflux.
Narrowing or constriction is seen in cases of sexually transmitted diseases like
gonorrhea,
syphilis, chlamydial infection.
Is there past history of sexually transmitted disease?
Presence of pus cells in semen suggests infection in the semen.
You have mentioned that tests for infectious agents like chlamydia, and
herpes simplex virus are negative.
Tests for syphilis and gonorrhea should also be tested.
A culture of the semen will also help to identify the organism.
Consult your doctor for these investigations so that the condition can be managed.
Thanks and take care
