Puss, Itching And Burning On Stitches Given For An Injury. Been Taking Antibiotics. Is This Normal?
My daughter had stitches in her hand from a cut with an exacto knife 5 stitches between her thumb and index finger. She complains of pain; burning itching, It has been 3 days since the stitches. She has now had one small q=tip size spot of pus on the bandage. Is this normal? We have been putting antibiotic cream on and cleaning 2-3 times a day.
