Radiography Shows Minimal Hazed Densities In Upper Lobes. Meaning? Treatment?
h god mrning im jr alajar may findings of the radiographic is minmal hazed densities seen in both upper lobes. heart is not enlarged. diaphragm and bony thorax are unremarkable ............ wat did mean and what the treatment
In the x-ray of the chest, bones, heart and muscle appear as white. The air inside the wind pipe and lungs appear as darker regions. Haziness or hazy densities mean the normally dark air containing areas appear as white patches. The lungs have upper and lower parts called lobes. (On the right side there is a middle lobe too.). The report means that there are areas appearing white on both sides in the upper parts. The rest of the x-ray are normal.
Haziness in both upper lobes can be due to infections (e.g. bacterial) or collection of fluid. If you are symptom-free, then no need is there to panic. Please follow your doctor’s advise and take prescribed antibiotics and the other drugs.
Tuberculosis is common among residents of Africa and Asia. They need to have follow up evaluations for the same.
Hope your problem gets resolved at the earliest
