Random Nose Bleeding. No Dryness And Humidity In Air. What Could Be The Cause?

having random nose bleeds which only last for 60 seconds or less...have had 3 nose bleeds in one day...of course its not normal....thinking about it the weather was not dry or humid which rules out the first thought that comes to mind on this issue which is was the air dry today answer is no it was not dry at all....any ideas on this matter?

Hello,

Epistaxis or bleeding from the nose is a condition which has to be evaluated thoroughly.

You have not mentioned your history properly like your age, any medical conditons like hypertension(high BP), any previous episodes of similar complaints. If the problem is repeated, you have to get few blood tests done (BT,CT, PT/PTT CBC ) to rule out any bleeding diathesis, and also consult an ENT specialist to get a Diagnostic nasal endoscopy to rule out any local causes for bleeding.
There are many reasons for nasal bleeding right from simple habit of nose picking to serious conditions like blood dyscrasias. , which has to be evaluated.
