Rapid HIV Tri Dot Test Negative. Is It Really Accurate ?
Hi, I had a rapid hiv tri dot test on the 17th of sep 2012 and the results were given to me in minutes it was negative,I ve been with my partner for 9 years and have 3 children but before my 9 year relationship I had un protected sex wit a few guys I m sick with worry and want to know how accurate the rapid hiv test is.

Thanks for your query,You had unprotected sex 9 years back and you do not have any symptoms that suggest HIV.You have done rapid HIV test which is reported negative.In absence of any symptoms and negative HIV test you need not worry at all and remove fear of HIV from your mind.You can again get it cross checked at different laboratory for confirmation and satisfaction.
