hi i have a question.. I have gain weight so the skin on my inner thigh is rubbing. I do have a chafing cream, however I have these purple patches that get irraitated and and burn and when they are not burning they are itching. I have used cortizone cream it helped for two seconds, then I bought some anti itch vag cream. It gets really bad when i am walking around because my skin is rubbin. even when I use shorts to seperate the skin it still burns or gets raw.. PLease Help!
Raw .itchy skin in inner thighs is only due to tinea cruris it is a fungal infection.cortisone application can relieve u temperarly and it causes recurrences.use antihistamine.oral and topical antifungals
Hello, Thank you for the query.I suggest antihistamin drugs like citrizine or avil and also anti inflammatory.You can use high power steroid ointment if cortizone is not helping.You need to keep the area clean and dry always to prevent itching and make the area to be hygenic.Thank you.
