Reason For Blood In Urine With History Of Heart Attack?
I've had small amounts of blood in my urine for the past 14 months. 58 yr old male. Multiple urinalysis test over this period has always turned up something. Most recent one last week returned results of hemoglobin of +1, and RBC of 4-10/HPF with comment 'microscopic rbcs, wbcs, and casts are unstable'.
In exploring potential problems I've had kidney and testicle ultrasound, and two cytoscopy's, one under general with multiple bladder biopsies that all came back fine. I am a road bicycle rider, but not extreme at all- 5-10 miles a week in the winter and more in the good weather- just a post heart attack guy (11 years) in reasonable shape trying to stay that way. Thoughts?
