Reason For Bump On The Back Of The Hand Getting Bigger After Carpal Boss Surgery?
I had carpal boss surgery over a month ago now, the bone was removed. The bump on the back of my hand is bigger now and more painful than before. An area on the top of my hand just below middle finger is numb with no sensation at all. Was it a mistake to have the surgery, and will I ever regain strength and range of motion? Thanks

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a compressed nerve and local inflammation. For this reason, I recommend performing a new X-ray study, nerve conduction studies and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
