Hi, I have a 2 year old who is getting a rash that appears, lasts 10 minutes then disappears. She has just finished all her mediciation for strep throat and has taken it before, so I'm not concerned about that. The rash, when it first appeared Saturday, looked like I slapped her across the face, she had little finger like marks. Then it disappeared after a while. The next day when I gave her a bath, it was like a chemical burn all over her chest, neck, face, arms and scalp and lasted the majority of her bath then went away. In Canada, we have a dial a nurse number here. I called that and was told it could be slapped cheek syndrome. Really??? She goes to a dayhome and her and 2 other kids keep getting this random rash that comes and goes.....When it comes it sometimes has a few welts then disappears.
