Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain and location of the pain there is a possibility that you may have an erupting or partially erupted Wisdom tooth and the gum flap around it must have got inflamed [known as PERICORONITIS] due to infection as a result of food deposition between the gum flap and the tooth..
The inflammation leads to pain and it can radiate to the entire jaw, throat, ear,eye and even side of head..
You should
consult a dentist and get evaluated and get an
x ray done..
In case if it is due to pericoronitis then a course of antibiotics like
Augmentin or
Amoxicillin and painkillers like
Ibuprofen can provide relief..
Doing warm saline gargles also help..
In case if the inflammation and pain relapses then either removal of the gum flap surgically or extraction of the tooth can permanently solve the problem..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
