Recently I had some strange symptoms that took me to the ER. I felt fine when I got up, shortly after that I felt very weak all over and spacey, not dizzy, but like a drug spacey. After sitting and feeling really out of it, I decided to lay down, but that made the spacey feeling worse and I felt like I needed to throw up, but nothing but a little mucus came up. It was such an odd set of symptoms I had never had, it scared me to the ER. After 2 CT scans, 3 blood draws, IV fluids, and a whole day at the ER, I got the great news that absolutely nothing was wrong with me. After about 3-4 hours, I felt OK. A little weak still, but much much better. I spoke with a friend of mine afterwards, described the symptoms, and she said exactly the same thing happened to her about a month before. Now I think this could have been some mild form of flu. Why didn't the ER know this? Or is this even correct.
