Recently I Was Speaking With Someone That Had A Coldsore

Recently I was speaking with someone that had a coldsore on his lip. I am concerned that while speaking with him a droplet of his spit may have landed on my hand - I thought I felt it but wasn't sure.

I washed my hands with soap and water a few minutes afterwords carefully.

Although this doesn't sound like a exposure that would put me at risk for contracting HSV (no contact with mucous membrane tissue / perhaps only a droplet touching the back of my hand)...

I still worry. I worry about contracting HSV and transmitting it to my girlfriend.

Do I have any realistic risk of having gotten HSV from this (perhaps imagined) exposure...
