Recently I Went To An Orthopedic Doctor For Problems Regarding

Recently I went to an orthopedic doctor for problems regarding my lower back (Lumbar Spine) region. I had an xray and the doctor said everything looked fine, except a tiny tiny smudge on the xray that he pointed at. He said it could be a stress fracture. I had an MRI later that week and I got a voicemail from the doctors office saying that he looked at the MRI and is redirecting me to another doctor. I looked up the doctor that i was being redirected too, and he is a specialist in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. Is this something I should worry about? I am not sure if this means that I have a serious problem with my spine that requires a doctor of high caliber, like the one I am being redirected too. Having surgery on my spine is the last thing on mind.
