hello doctor i have been recently been diagonised with diabetes . my blood sugar on fasting showed 118 mg and 227 PP ,my cholestrol showed 247mg and my BP showed 140/90 mg. i am taking tablets for all the three problems and after one month of gtaking tablets my blood sugar level sowed 96 mg on fasting and 176 mg PP. am i improving my health , if so what non-veg diet shouild i take, can i add a little sugar in my tea.

Your levels of fasting blood sugar are normal however PP levels are a bit high.
You continue the same dose of medicine but should reduce your calorie intake and start doing regular exercises.
The goal of your cholesterol levels should be
Total cholesterol should be below 180
Your LDL levels should be below 80
Triglyceride levels shoul be below 150
BP should be below 120/80 mm of Hg
The best non veg diet for you is o take steamed or frilled fish.
There is no need to add any sugar as it may derail your normalisation programme.
Develop the habit of taking your tea and milk without sugar and avoid colas.
