Recently Had Respiratory Failure In Hospital Several Hours After Surgery,

Recently had respiratory failure in hospital several hours after surgery, was found unresponsive to any pain stimulus, c02 level 136 with foaming at the mouth, no memory after my family left around 9:00 pm until awakening after 1:00 am in icu, family was called to come back to hospital. How serious was this and could I have any permanent damages?
