Recommend Medications For Post Nasal Drip

I had surgery Oct. 2, since then I've had constant nasal drainage, that runs down my throat. it was gotten better; however, my nasal spray Iprathopium bromide helps temporally. I've never had this condition before, but do have a lot of sinus problems.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain continuous post nasal drip seems to be due to causes like Sinus infection or Sinusitis that seems to be most probable cause in
your case as you already have a history of the same while can also be due to upper respiratory tract infection,allergies, acid reflux etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS View or MRI scan of the sinuses, throat swab culture, blood culture, complete blood picture etc can help in diagnosis and treatment and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics, anti allergics like Levocetrizine, mucolytics like Ambroxol and also doing warm saline gargles and steam inhalations..
sip on warm water and avoid spicy and chilled foods..
