Recommend Suitable Tests To Find The Cause Of Constant Diarrhea

Good day, My mother is suffering from diarrhoea for approximately 12 months, the clinics have been giving her drip and tablets and release her to recover at home. The medication has been temporarily helping her but now her situation is getting worse, she has continuous diarrhoea. The only test that has been done on her is the ultra scan. Can you please recommend the suitable tests that she can do to find the main cause of her upset stomach. Can you find a gastroenterologist in the local area of Durban, South Africa

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Hi, it appears that it is due to the colitis, and there may be immunosupression, or un controlled diet habbits.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms,ofloxaci, ornidazole, ranitidine for 10 days, then to continue the ranitidine300, B.D. for a long time.
Avoid giving spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Avoid milk and milk products, wheet, and barley.
I am providing some information regarding the gasro enterologist.
