General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Chronic and recurrent hiradenitis suppurativa requires surgical treatment or radiotherapy. Recurrences often continue after surgical excision but the rates are lower and other methods like Nd:YAG lasertreatment of lesions, electrocoagulation of the sinus tracts, skin grafts can also be included with surgery to reduce recurrence. Till you get to see an ER try to keep the area clean and take Tab. Panadol 500 mg thrice a day to alleviate pain due to inflammation.
Thank you.
