Recommend Treatment For Lung Fibrosis
hello doctor i just want to ask about lung fibrosis. i was diagnosed to have TB in my left upper lung and i was treating anti tb drugs for 2 months now and i have regularly consulting my pulmonologist.my problem is on how the scar on my lungs will be totally disappear? is there any remedy for it?thanks

You are having lung fibrosis condition secondary to tuberculosis ....
Once fibrosis occurs it is irreversible condition ...
Steroid might be useful for that ....
You have to complete the course of AKT to prevent further fibrosis....
If you are having smoking habit than avoid smoking as it can lead further fibrosis ....
Pulmonary rehabilitation useful....
To assese severity of fibrosis spirometry useful for that ...
Take care .
Advise : regular pulmonologist follow up
