Recurred Huge Bumpy Water Blister In Corner Of Eye, Leaking Clear Fluid, Increasing Pain. Remedy?
I have what looks like a water blister in the corner of my right eye.It looks like a huge bump.I believe it leaks clear fluid but when i squeeze nothing happens.I had it lanced an was told it was nothing but it returned within a year.It wasnt previously painful very much but the intensity seems to be rapidly increasing. What is this thing an can i get it treated where it wont come back?
Dear user It seems from the history that you are having inflammatory swelling involving one of the glands of the eyelids. The condition can be hordeolum internum or hordeolum . The condition is usually treated by oral antibiotic drugs, oral antiinflammatory drugs and antibiotic eye ointment. The condition is known to reccur if associated with conditions like chronic blepharitis, refractive error and systemic conditions like diabetes mellitus. Hence you need to undergo eye examination to look for any associated conditions to prevent recurrences. Thank You
