Recurred Sore Throat With Dry Bumps, Yellow Roof Of Mouth And Tongue, Numb Tongue. What Could This Be?
Symptoms: Sore throat, dry w/ bumps in throat, roof of mouth & back part of tongue. Yellowish in color... for about a week @ beginning of Nov, cleared up
Sore throat returned... VERY sore, VERY dry, bumps in throat, roof of mouth, back of tongue. Yellowish in color. Tongue feels numb, lips tingly. Hurts to eat salty foods or coarse foods. Had a sore in left nostril for 2 days at onset of sore throat. It had been almost a week. What could it be?

You had recurrence of the sore throat,after one moth again. It could be strep throat, or some other infection.
Once it occurs, it should be treated completely, other wise there will be recurrence , it is true with any infection.
You may need to have culture and sensitivity of the throat swab.It may take 48 hours to get the result. So i advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythrocin 500mg, B.D, phynylpropolamine BD, diclophenac sodium. and citrizine till the results come.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice water, icecream, etc.
