Recurrent Abortions, ACA(Igg):5.68GPLU/ml, ACA(Igm):23.69MPLU/ml, Other Test Normal
i had 4 recurrent missed abortions.I am 28 yrs old.my ACA(Igg):5.68GPLU/ml and ACA(Igm):23.69MPLU/ml.Is this cause recurrent abortions.All other test are normal including karyotype .

Elevated ACA antibodies are one of the cause for recurrent abortion. But in your case as Ig G is 5.68 (normal level below 23), Which is normal and Ig M is 23.69(normal range below 11), Which is increased in your report. Usually Ig M reflects Acute changes. Many a time These ACA are increased for shorter duration in case of flu or upper respiratory tract viral infection.Which will come back to normal range with in 6 weeks. So better to get rechecked again after 6 weeks to confirm elevated levels.If these ACA are elevated even after 6 weeks, it could be a cause for abortion. Then treatment for it can be started under guidance of your doctor.
