Hello Thanks for posting query As you have mentioned it seems that she is suffering from chronic pharyngitis or tonsillitis. When there is inadequate treatment of acute condition it becomes chronic one. Most common cuase for this condition is bacterial infection. So she needs proper ENT checkup along with some blood tests for bacterial infection like CBC and ASO titre, if required culture of throat wall etc. If it is chronic pharyngitis then she will need prolonged antibiotic course. So I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for proper clinical evaluation, diagnosis and for management.
