Recurring Bumps, Itching After Insect Bite 6 Months Ago. Any Ideas?

Approximately 2 months ago I was bitten by some type of insect on a trip to Arizona. It swelled, itched, and spread then turned a deep red color and finally disappeared after 2 1/2 weeks and treatment. I had several other outbreak spots that did not get as large so my doctor was not very concerned with them. However; it's been about 6 weeks since the initial reaction and I keep getting recurring bumps that are extremely itchy and most turn a dark red color as well. I am at different places every time I notice new bumps so I do not think it is a specific bug. But I'm also not sure what it could be.

It is a sensitivity pattern to insect bites.

It is chronic and get time to recover.

You can take oral antiallregy drug like cetrizine at night.
