Recurring Cough, Fever After CABG Surgery. Frequent Urination. Urine Test Normal, Low Sodium Level. Possible Cause?
Hi, my dad went through a CABG surgery three weeks back. His recovery was going smooth until 4 days back he started having cough and fever. His fever ranges from 99 - 100.7 and when we gave him a combiflam then it goes away for 10-12 hours and then reappears. The chest xray is clear. He is on antibiotics for cough ( taxim o 200 ) since last three days as it was prescribed because of his cough. Another major problem we are seeing is his increased urination because of which he is unable to sleep continuously. We got the urine routine test done yesterday and it shows no signs of infection. However his sodium levels were low when we did blood test yesterday (around 118) so doctor prescribed more salt intake. Please suggest how do we go about this cough fever and uriniation problem. He is taking ecosprin gold 10, taxim -o 200, pantocid,
