Hello Sir,
You are having hard nodule on your Index Finger, which reappears after dis appearing again again , it may be your work related corn formation , which develops due to repeated friction or it may be keloid formation after your first appearance of this ulcer on your index finger long back. so here is my suggestion for first diagnosis i.e. friction corn, you can apply corn cap regularly till it removes completely along with analgesics.
For the second possibility you can take corticosteroids in reducing doses, means after a loading dose of corticosteroid (dexamethasone 4mg) start with BD for 2days, 1od for 3days and than 1/2 od next 4-5days, with local application of antibiotic+corticosteroid cream, if pain is there than advise to take analgesic ( Diclofenac sod.+paracetamol )tablet when ever you feel to take it. Hope you will find solution of your Disease.Good luck and take care.
