I have a severe pain in the shoulder , I had my shoulder dislocated but doctor said it was not completely dislocated and hence prescribed rest and Enzoflam tablets and Ice pack..This happened two months back. I was fine for a month but few days back my pain is back after i rode my Bike and the pain is continous... Please help. My age is 34, Male Thanks, Rahman
Hello Rahman, It is quite obvious to know wheather you shoulder was in a sling or arm pouch during the rest period. Second thing is have you done a follow up x-ray for your affected shoulder. That follow up x-ray will indicate wheather the shoulder is in position or not. Accordingly your management will continue. If it is not in position may be your shoulder needs close manipulation under anaesthesia by ab expert Orthopaedician. If the shoulder is in position then it requires proper rehabilitation training by an expert Physiotherapist. This may include strengthening of shoulder girdle muscles including pain relieving modalities. Wishing you your pain free shoulder back soon
