I have been diagonized with high ESR of 82. Haemoglobin normal. I maintain strict personal cleanliness. Boils mostly occur during summer i.e. when I sweat a lot. Mild coughs ocur in between at night. What may be the cause? Is it something serious? How to avoid it?

Hi,
If you have been suffering with this for some time you need to exclude diabetes as a cause for recurring infections. A simple blood test can be done at your doctors. The high ESR indicates you have inflammation somewhere and would be consistent with your widespread boils. It is not very specific.
